Our goal for the municipal election in Brampton this October is to increase voter participation. Share your contact information with us and we will remind you of the important dates, times and locations, including early voting. Early voting allows you to take part in this important civic responsibility when it is convenient for you.
Beat the lineup. Any eligible Brampton voter can vote at any advance location, whichever ward you live in.
On voting day you vote inside your own ward, at the location the City assigns to your address.
Your ballot in Wards 1 and 5
Wards 1 and 5 choose their councillors together as one electoral area. You will mark four choices.
Where to vote early
All 10 advance locations are open to you. These are sorted by how close they are to Wards 1 and 5, nearest first. Pick a day to see what is open.
iWards 1 and 5 are outlined on the map. During advance voting you are not limited to your own ward, so use whichever location suits your day.
Every location has an accessible voting unit and accessible parking. Distances are measured from the centre of Wards 1 and 5, so treat them as a guide.
Can I vote?
You can vote in Brampton if all four are true on voting day.
- You are a Canadian citizen
- You are at least 18 years old
- You live in Brampton, or you own or rent property here
- You are not prohibited from voting by law
You can still vote if you are not on the list. Bring your ID and you can be added at the voting location.
What do I bring?
One piece of ID showing your name and your Brampton address. It does not need a photo.

Where do I vote on October 26?
On voting day you vote at one assigned location inside your own ward, and the City matches it to your address. Enter your address in the City's lookup and it will tell you your ward and exactly where to go.
